“My girls have been at Swallowtail for 7 years!
I have never met more caring, intelligent and dedicated teachers. It’s the perfect blend of strong academics, artistic training, and character building.”

“This is the third year that my three daughters have attended Swallowtail.
We have loved their teachers, who are extremely committed and caring to each of our daughters. We have chosen Swallowtail as an alternative to public education, because of the excessive amount of standardize test taking and homework that is often thrown at elementary school age children. My daughters are being challenged academically, and they love to go to school each morning.”

“Our 5th grader started at Swallowtail in 1st grade.
Prior to Swallowtail he attended Pacific University’s Early Learning Community for pre-school and kindergarten. We were looking for a school with smaller class sized and a similar welcoming environment as Pacific. Swallowtail appealed to us (and still does) with its small class size, methodology for teaching that engenders a love of learning in an environment of respect and warmth between faculty, students and parents.”
— Denise B. via Yelp
“We’ve had one daughter graduate and one still in middle school at Swallowtail and we are so grateful for their experience!
The teachers are phenomenally committed to the children’s learning and the overall tone of the school has always been nurturing. Not only are the academics strong and balanced, there is an emphasis on the whole person, which creates well-rounded learners and people.”
— Ericka Goerling via Facebook
“My son has been with Swallowtail since kindergarten and is now in the 7th grade and I highly recommend it to other parents.
The curriculum prepares children for both future academic and social challenges and the environmental education (there is an additional 26-acre farm campus) promotes great responsibility. This is a well rounded educational experience that helps develop sharp, motivated and emotionally strong young humans.”

“We’ve been at Swallowtail since our daughter was in kindergarten.
It was the first school we visited where we finally felt we'd found the perfect environment for our daughter. Our daughter is creative and independent and we value the schools principles and philosophy which supports her individuality. We also love the ways in which the core curriculum is taught with purpose and meaning for a deeper understanding of each subject.
