2026 February Break Camp

Peter Yenken will offer a workshop teaching current 4th - 7th graders a chance to make a bow/quiver/arrow OR a knife/wooden handle/ leather sheath.  For the bow/arrow/quiver, children will make by hand a wooden bow from hickory wood, wooden arrows with real turkey feathers, and a leather quiver. They will also learn to shoot their bows using the instinctive archery or traditional archery methods.  For knife-making, students will go home with their own knife made to fit their own hand.  These are intensive projects and children are expected to work independently and at their own pace.  Enrollment is limited to 14 students.

Camp will be held Monday, February 16th, through Thursday, February 19th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, at our main campus.
