Tuition Assistance: Swallowtail School offers
need-based tuition reductions of up to 30% for Early Childhood, and up to 50% for Grades programs.
In Grades classes that are under-enrolled, a reduction of up to 90% for qualifying families may be awarded.
Our 2026-27 grade six class is currently under-enrolled.
Sibling Discounts: There is a 10% discount for the second enrolled child, and a 50% discount for each additional enrolled child.
Native Reconciliation Tuition Program: In recognition of the historical and ongoing trauma inflicted by colonialism on the Native people of North America, and in alignment with our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion as expressed in our equity statement, we are honored to offer a tuition-free Waldorf education for a select number of students whose families are members of an indigenous tribe in the United States.

2026-27 Tuition & Fees
Tuition
Usually spread over 10 or 12 monthly payments. May be paid in full by July 1st for a 3% discount.
New families may withdraw in the first 60 days with no further tuition obligation.
All other families are contractually obligated to provide notice of intent to withdraw and pay tuition through the notice period.
Fees
Nonrefundable
PreK-Grade 8 only; there are no additional fees for Family-Child Circle.
$100 Application Fee is due upon submission of enrollment application.
Facilities and Materials Fees are due at enrollment, and every March thereafter.
