Angelica Ingeman
Dragonfly Kindergarten Lead

Angelica completed her Waldorf Teacher Training in June of 2000 at the Eugene Waldorf Teacher Training program. She spent the next 20 years working in Waldorf Early Childhood programs, first as an assistant, and then in various lead roles teaching Preschool, Kindergarten, and Parent Child classes, and as the Director of the Aftercare Program. She spent the last 2 years teaching 1st and 2nd grade at the Honolulu Waldorf school and is particularly knowledgeable about preparing rising first grade students for a successful transition to the Grades.

Angelica describes herself as flexible, compassionate, and communicative and her warm, grounded presence has been a gift to our Early Childhood program. She is committed to enlivening the curriculum with developmentally appropriate, inclusive material that is representative of all races and genders and honors the place in which the school is living. She is happy to be back in Oregon and to have joined the Swallowtail School community.
