Lindsay Samelko

Lindsay Samelko was born and raised in Texas. She moved around often as a child and finished high school in a small town on the coast. She received a Bachelors Degree in Child Development, followed by a Masters of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Lindsay is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in residential treatment facilities, foster and adoption agencies, community mental health and within multiple community systems serving children, adolescents and families experiencing a variety of challenges.

Ms. Lindsay holds post graduate certificates and specialty training in Play Therapy, developmental trauma, multidisciplinary team interventions, Animal Assisted Human Health, Children’s Yoga, Neurodiversity and Sensory Integration, Attachment, Culturally Responsive Practices, organizational leadership, Therapy for Foster and Adoptive Families, intersectionality, Infant – Toddler Mental Health, Neurodiversity, as well as Prevention, Assessment and Management of Suicidal Risk.

Ms. Lindsay served as the Oregon Association for Play Therapy Board President for multiple years, and is a member of the Oregon Infant Mental Health Association. She feels strongly about children’s rights, advocacy, supporting parents through their parenting journey and removing barriers to equitable services and resources for humans.

Ms. Lindsay has a house full of children and pets, and in her free time she enjoys being outdoors, baking, cooking, handwork, puzzles, animals, gardening, and video games.
