Marcela was first introduced to Waldorf Education in the early 90s , when her children attended a Waldorf school. At that time, she became extremely interested in and began a deep study of Waldorf philosophy. Marcela began teaching at her children's school.

Over the years, she has taught a variety of classes in Waldorf schools, including Kindergarten, Grades, Languages, and Math. Additionally, she has training in the Waldorf Extra Lesson curriculum and student observations. Her background and degree are in architecture, but she feels teaching is her true calling and passion.
